Each year, Borealis looks for pioneering ideas and potential collaboration partners to shape the future of our industry and our planet. We want to hear from bold, disruptive thinkers from the professional and academic scientific communities, from entrepreneurs and start-ups to university researchers. This year Borealis is looking for new solutions for the sustainable production and use of plastics. This includes e.g. new catalysts, energy-efficient polymerization processes, recycling of polymers, and polymeric materials for energy transition.
The competition is open to researchers, entrepreneurs, professionals and innovative companies (start-ups & scale-ups) in the fields of chemical engineering and sustainability with research within the areas described above.
Applications need to take the form of a peer-reviewed publication or thesis (publication paper, Bachelor, Master, PHD, Postdoc) that describes an innovative idea within the focus areas.
